This course helps students develop the analytical rigour and technical knowledge needed for a career in finance and economics. Courses specific to this program allow close collaboration, helping students create strong networks that will be an important resource throughout their careers. Students are taught by leading academics covering topics such as micro and macroeconomics, financial management, and accounting and data analytics, and will also hear from industry experts who show how the program content is applied in practice. As the program is highly structured, students develop strong networks within their cohort. In their fourth year, students can choose to major in economics or finance, or pursue a more general pathway by completing a team project, an individual research topic and elective courses in economics and finance.
