Gain expertise in robotics, data analysis, soil science, hydrology, crop and animal production. — Develop paddock-ready skills to sustainably improve livestock and cropping outcomes for small, medium and large-scale farming operations. Learn from world-class researchers with strong industry connections.
Access specialist agricultural facilities at UQ’s Gatton campus. Gain valuable hands-on experience through industry placements, case studies and fieldwork. Develop an understanding of current and emerging trends in agricultural innovation to meet climate change and rising food demands globally . Combine this degree with a Bachelor of Agribusiness, and complete two degrees in four years (Bachelor of QTAC code: 766601). Further study is available in a research-based honours program. Other requirements

Students are exposed to animals and agricultural environments as part of their learning. Immunisation against Q fever is mandatory and students will be required to provide evidence of immunisation upon commencement of the program. Immunisation against tetanus is recommended.
