Course outline

This double degree examines the principles and practices of modern rural industries, including land use and management, and how they intersect with the legal system. The course is designed to develop real-world skills scientific and legal reasoning and inquiry, and critical analysis of complex circumstances. Our practically oriented course equips students with skills that are increasingly in demand in rural industries, underpinned by a solid foundation in agricultural systems. Working individually and as part of a team, students apply their skills to current and future problems facing this rapidly changing sector, especially in agricultural business, science, economics and law. Minors: Plant production; livestock production; cotton production; genetics; general agricultural production, high intensity cropping; sheep and wool.

Other requirements

Students must complete 12 weeks of approved practical industry experience during university vacation periods.
