As a graduate of the double degree Bachelor of Architectural Design/Bachelor of Built Environment (Honours) (Urban and Regional Planning) you will have the skills and knowledge to enhance your career capabilities in the design, construction, and development industry.

The course will provide you with real life exposure to many aspects of the building and planning industries so you can develop the knowledge and practical skills that will prepare you for a rewarding career in the built environment. You will develop in depth knowledge of the design and planning to allow you to become a town planner or a building designer.

This course will equip you to meet future architectural and planning challenges such as adapting to climate change and building resilient, healthy sustainable, inclusive, and just communities. You will learn to design and plan architectural and urban environments with positive impacts on human health, environmental quality, social relationships, and urban systems.

This course is covered by the QUT Offer Guarantee and Year 12 Early Offer Scheme.
