The Bachelor of Commerce covers fundamental knowledge and skills in the key areas of accounting, finance, economics, quantitative analysis, information systems, and business and taxation law. A commerce degree provides a culturally diverse and work-oriented educational experience, establishing best practice for a long-term professional career.

Commerce is endorsed by the Chartered Accountants (CA Australia and New Zealand) and the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia. It’s designed to meet the global demand for high-quality commerce graduates providing you with the opportunity to specialise in accounting and/or finance. Finance or both.

A key task will be the completion of a reflective journal covering the experience and the identification and analysis of key learning outcomes.

Prerequisites

English, Literature, English and Literature Extension or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 and 4, C); General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 and 4, C); Applicant must have completed Year 12 or equivalent

Completed Year 12 or equivalent with a pass in General Mathematics (or above).
