Offering you the best of both worlds, this course is designed to teach you cutting-edge business and management skills along with the contextual knowledge and practice applicable to the exciting and expansive world of entertainment.
Be taught and mentored directly by those who have carved out their own successful careers in the areas of artist and event management, music publishing, label management, and marketing whilst gaining a deep understanding of the industry and how to succeed in it.

You will develop specific skills in artist management, event and festival management, marketing, entrepreneurship, business planning, contract negotiations, budgeting and finance, copyright and intellectual property. All while building your own enviable network of industry and peer contacts along the way.

All JMC Bachelor Degree graduates are eligible to apply for entry into JMC Academy’s Master of Creative Industries, or relevant post-grad qualification at any Australian university.

Note

At JMC we have a dedicated Internship Program as well as work placement opportunities designed to have students apply their learning and gain hands-on experience in real industry roles. The placements for this course are numerous and include labels, established music festivals, large-scale events and more.

You may be entitled to credit for prior learning, whether formal or informal. Formal learning can include previous study in higher education, vocational education, or adult and community education. Informal learning can include on the job learning or various kinds of work and life experience. Credit can reduce the amount of study needed to complete a degree. Fee notes

Domestic students have the option of paying tuition fees prior to the commencement of each trimester or deferring payment through FEE-HELP.
