This degree will prepare you to work as a paramedic in a range of traditional and non-traditional settings. You’ll be prepared to work with individuals, groups and communities in and out of the hospital setting to achieve positive outcomes for patients. You’ll gain clinical decision-making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills through simulated learning activities and clinical placements. You’ll also develop foundation knowledge in human body systems, general paramedic practice, management of a variety of conditions and situations including trauma, medical, mental health, maternity, and major incident management.
